| In September of 2006 I started to come up with a plan for a weighted quilt using the same fabrics and quilt patterns that they love so much. The result is the Weighted Quilt by Quilted Illusions. The kids love their quilts and snuggle with them all the time. I then started to think of a design for a weighted vest that had a discrete, stylish, and comfortable design to it. I wanted it to be something the boys would be able to wear in public without standing out, something that the `normal` kids would be envious of. The result is the Weighted Vests by Quilted Illusions. One of my twins has a vest with the solar system on it. He carries it everywhere with him. All of my weighted products are machine washable. I weight them with polly-pellets so the weights are not as coarse as the rocks, sand, or rice that you find in most of the other weighted products on the market. You can choose from the fabrics I have on hand or if your loved ones like a particular theme (like the solar system), I will do my best to accommodate you.
