Quilted Illusions Weighted Quilts are made with the same quality and look as a regular heirloom quilt. Each quilt block is a 6 1/2 inch square. I alternate the weighted blocks with the pieced blocks. This causes the quilt to hug better than any other weighted blanket available. I use the softest, highest quality quilt fabrics available. I prefer to use flannels because they are so soft and snuggly. I also lean towards the blue tones because blue has been proven to be the calming color. All of my products are machine washable because I use polly-pellets to weight them instead of the traditional sand, popcorn, rice, and rocks used in other weighted products. It is recommended by therapists that the weight use for deep-pressure therapy is 10% of the body weight of the person using the quilt, and the recommended size is from head to toe. The weights are first sewn into the individual blocks, then into the quilt top. The next step is to quilt the entire quilt using a long-arm quilting machine. This step keeps the weights from shifting around the quilt. I then hand bind the quilt. The end result is a beautiful, weighted quilt that will last for a very long time. The quality is amazing! 
Quilted Illusions Weighted Vests were created to give a stylish comfort that people can take and wear anywhere they go without standing out. I came up with the design after searching for weighted vests for my sons that they could wear in school without the other kids wondering what's `wrong` with them. Each of my boys chose a fabric that they felt was `cool.` The liner for the vests is first quilted on my long-arm quilting machine. I then fill the liner with weights (polly-pellets), sewing the weights into columns so that they don't shift around. I then attach the outside fabric and hand bind the bottom of the vest to ensure that the weights don't fall out. You never have to worry about removing the weights. Quilted Illusions Weighted Vests are fully machine washable. I do carry some fabrics, but if there is a special fabric that you would like (my son wanted his made out of the solar-system fabric), let me know. I have both adult and children sizes.
